Renaissance Evensong I -

The Parish of St. Mark, 1025 NW 21st Ave, Portland
Rose City Renaissance Singers open the new Renaissance Evensong Series at the Parish of St. Mark with the music of Thomas Tallis — the sober and grand Short Dorian Service, and the O sacrum convivium of 1575. Held near twilight and combining the ancient monastic hours of vespers and compline, Evensong is meant to convey a contemplative and peaceful meditation at the end of the day.
Free to attend. Registration is not required, but it helps us plan seating and lets us keep you posted on the rest of the series.
