Renaissance Evensong II -

The autumn Evensong turns to Robert Parsons, whose Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis is a soaring tour de force for a relatively small number of singers, alongside his Deliver me from thine enemies and Leonhard Lechner's De Profundis Clamavi. Held near twilight and combining the ancient monastic hours of vespers and compline, Evensong is meant to convey a contemplative and peaceful meditation at the end of the day.
Free to attend. Registration is not required, but it helps us plan seating and lets us keep you posted on the rest of the series.
